About Me

I’m a Scottish video game streamer and a singer / songwriter. I make gaming videos and put them on the internet. Sometimes people watch them.

Who Do I Think I Am?

My real name is Paul. I’m a Scottish musician living in London, trying to do as much cool hipster stuff as possible. I’m already in my 30s, which makes me a bit older than most streamers and YouTubers. But I’ve been gaming since I was a kid, so that means I’ve got a ton more experience. If you’re looking for a more mature take on video games, I’m your guy!

I decided to focus on Twitch in 2018. My streaming schedule is unfortunately pretty random, which isn’t so great. But my experience of the community so far is super friendly and supportive, which is exactly what I’m looking for. I’m still working on my monthly First Look series for YouTube, but standard let’s plays are getting a bit more rare. Give me a shout if you’d like me to bring them back!

Where Does The Name Dajmin Come From?

That’s a long story, dating back to my years playing EverQuest. Dajmin was the name that I came up with for my Shadowknight character. I adopted it as a hybrid of the words “musician” and “diabetic” (I am both) thrown through a blender. But I don’t remember whether it was an automatically generated one or if I came up with it myself. People have been calling me it for 15 years, so it’s almost as much a part of my life as my real name is!

Also, Dajmin is pronounced with a soft J, like “edge”. I guess dahdg-min or something.

What’s My PC Spec?

CPU Intel i5 6400 (2.7GHz)
RAM 8Gb HyperX Fury DDR4 (2133MHz)
HEADSET Logitech G933 Artemis Spectrum
MOUSE TeckNet Raptor Prime
MIC Samson Meteorite

I’m working on upgrades, but they take time and money! I still record everything at 1080p60 though, so nothing is crazy urgent!

What Can You Do For Me?

To be honest, the best thing you can do is follow me on Twitch, subscribe to my YouTube channel or follow me on Twitter. I’m on Patreon too, although I’m not really using it yet. Or take a look at my Amazon Wishlist, I guess 🙂
